Tweetaligheid is een belangrijk onderwerp in het veld van onderwijs en zorg. In het vorige nummer van Van Horen Zeggen is er zelfs een themakatern aan gewijd. Antje Orgassa schreef voor Van Horen Zeggen een artikel, waarbij de verschillen en overeenkomsten tussen meertaligheidsproblemen en primaire taalstoornissen worden uiteengezet. Zij baseert zich daar bij op haar eigen onderzoek, dat in 2009 tot een dissertatie leidde met de titel: Specific language impairment in a bilingual context : The acquisition of Dutch inflection by Turkish-Dutch learners.
